Subject: Wormhole Trail Work Day – April 19th + Registration Discount!
Hey Wormhole Racers,
The Wormhole is approaching fast, and we need your help to get the trails dialed in! We’re hosting a trail work day on Saturday, April 19th, meeting at 8 AM in Arcadia. If we have enough folks, we’ll split into groups to tackle the seven sections outlined in the attached Google Sheets document.
Some of you may already know that I had a bike accident a few weeks ago, resulting in a broken collarbone, three ribs, and a partially collapsed lung. That’s kept me off the trails and unable to do maintenance myself, so I’d truly appreciate any help from those who can lend a hand.
As a thank-you, I’m offering a 25% discount on Wormhole registration to those who:
RSVP and show up on April 19th to help with the organized trail work day (RSVP here: Trail Work Day Sign-Up).
Tackle one of these sections solo before April 19th (please submit trail notes, name, and email on the Google Sheet: Trail Work Progress).
Already signed up? No worries! If you take part in the trail work, we’d be happy to refund a portion of your entry fee.
Keep in mind, not only are you helping get the Wormhole course ready, but you’re also giving back to the local riding community. These trails are used year-round, and this is a great way to make sure they stay in great shape for all riders to enjoy.
If you have already cleared one of the seven sections recently or have ridden a section and found no downed trees or maintenance needed, please drop me an email or provide that info on the shared Google Sheets doc. This will help us focus on the areas that need the most attention.
Also, if you’re one of the handful of folks who continuously maintain trails in the area, please send me an email. I’d love to chat about the service you provide and find a way to thank you properly for all you do.
Let me know if you’re in, and thanks so much for your help!
Best,
Jeremy Ramsey
